Lapse of Time

I can't beleive it's been well over a year since my last posting. I had forgotten my username and password and then completely put teh blog thing on the back burner.

Here's a brief snapshot of recent goings on in my life:

-As of September 2005, I am working for an oral surgeon in Issaquah. I am the primary front office personnel right now and keeping VERY busy.
-My cousin Janelle got married in January to a wonderful guy named Eric.
-My brother married his high school sweetie, Tammy, in February.
-My symphony is celebrating it's 25th Season and right now we are preparing for our May concert series (May 20 and 21) feauturing the Bottom Line Duo. The Duo is a husband and wife group that play bass and cello respectively, with a music/comedy routine. We will be playing original music written specifically for this ocassion. Prayer Request

I emailed a number of my friends and family back in December with a prayer request. I asked you to pray for my friend and her family, as her brother-in-law was just diagnosed with severe lung cancer that had spread into his brain. I thank you for your prayers, concern, and words of encouragement. Sadly, my friend's brother-in-law passed away this last Wednesday. It was such as sudden loss since his diagnosis was only two months ago. I do not believe that he as saved, which breaks my heart to pieces.

I aks that you continue to pray for my friend and her family, especially her sister, who have lost such a dear friend and family member. Please pray for their comfort and peace, that they seek God instead of blame him. Thank you all so much for your heartfelt concern for a family you have never even met.

David and Tammy

Most of you already know, but just is case...My little brother, David, is engaged!!!! His fiance is Tammy, a wonderful girl he met in high school. They got engaged this past summer while we were on our family trip to Cabo San Lucas. It is a sary thought that my younger broher is getting married, but we are all so excited. I am thrilled to be getting such a wonderful sister!!!

They are finally making wedding day plans. Tammy is looking at gowns and they are picking on color themes and locations. David is actaully into the planning process. He really wants to help. Surprise!

The wedding is no until Febraury 2006, but there is a lot to do and the time will fly by.

School

I know it has been since I opened up my Blog, so it is about time I put in some new thoughts.

How about a school update?

For those of you that don't know, I am in my final stretch towards by B.A. in Business Administration and Management. I have 4.5 classes to go and plan to be done this coming December. What do I plan to do after I graduate? That is a ery good question, for which I really have no answer. I'd really like to get a Master's Degree, but I plan to take a quarter off before beginning that journey. My career interests are so varied that I am open to so many firms and positions as far as employement goes. I lvoe my current job at Marine Hills Dental, so it is sad to think of leaving, but if I want to advance my career, it is something I'll have to do eventually.

Hola mi amigos!

This weekend, my family and I returned from a week long trip to Cabo San Lucas. We had a great time hanging out poolside, enjoying wonderful food, relaxing at the spa, and seeing the town. We did not do a lot of activities this year, but we did ride horses on the beach. At first I was terrified that I would fall off, but after a while it was really fun! I am looking forward to doing it again.

The biggest news of the trip is that my brother and his girlfriend got engaged! I am so excited for them.

I had a cd made of all the pictures, so I hope to have photos up to you on the blog or through email soon.

Getting Started

This is my first experience with my own blog. I hope to use it to keep friends and family up to date with my travels, adventures, and happenings. A few of my friends have such sites and I always enjoy reading what is posted. Have fun reading the postings on my site; respond too if you'd like.
